About Loves Field Studio
Meet the Maker

Hi, I’m Lori, the artist and soapmaker behind Loves Field Studio. My journey began in 1996 with a single bar of Geranium Rose soap I purchased at Asheville farmers market. At the time, my skin had been going through a "rough patch" that had lasted for years. That one natural bar did what nothing else could, and it sparked a lifelong passion for botanical skincare.
From Loves Field to Your Home
My soapmaking adventures started on our family farm in Love Field, a cozy community nestled in Sylva, NC. Surrounded by our boys and a menagerie of sheep, goats, and chickens, I put down roots and fell in love with gardening. While my journey has since moved beyond the farm to my studio in Mount Airy NC, one thing remains a constant and that's the gratitude I feel to my Lord and Savior Jesus for giving me this opportunity and guidance along the way, to make my products and share them with all of you. The Promise
Loves Field Soap started with a simple goal: to make soap that actually makes your skin feel good to be in. I believe that "junk-free" is more than a buzzword, it’s a commitment to removing the synthetic detergents and petrochemicals that leave skin feeling tight, dry, and irritated.
That’s why I’ve traded harsh chemicals for a primary base of skin-loving Olive Oil. Using the traditional cold-process method, I create bars that respect your skin’s natural balance. For me, it isn’t about "beauty" or "glamour" it’s about the simple, honest joy of using a soap that leaves your skin feeling soft, calm, and exactly how it was meant to feel.
